Hi,

Does anyone see any safety issues with adding a steel (pos lock) carabiner to the large ring so it can be added to the throwline midline. this will mean that the climb line once set will be through the small ring and the steel carabiner. Obviously if this was used this would be all that carabiner was used for.

(this is what I'm talking about: but adding a carabiner to save having to pull the throwline through. Installing a ring to ring cambium saver from the ground - YouTube)

Thanks

Dan

I don't see and issues but I am admittedly no safety freak. On removals I tie into just a caribiner on a webbing sling all the time..... I am still here..... must be safe
