installing electric fuel pump on sc50tx

I have been having problems with my sc50tx just shutting down on me, it will start back up, but shutoff again right away. There was a suggestion to install an electric fuel pump. I am going to tomorrow and wanted to gather as much information as possible. Like; Where at in the fuel system? What pump model and/or pressure? Is there anything I have to do with the other pump and/or fuel actuator? Anything else I should know will be very appreciated, thank you!
