I took the fuel consumption and power output of several saws and converted them to horsepower-hours/gallon, a measure of fuel efficiency, and the results are very interesting. For example, I had an 029 once that sucked gas like mad. My 372XP burns much less. Using these numbers the 029 has 6.85 Hp-Hr/Gal and the 372XP 9.00 Hp-Hr/Gal.
