Good pics. Is that on Hwy 26 east of Portland? I seem to remember seeing some sort of logging museum there years ago. We used to go that way to Seaside but now come down the river from Longview. I'll have to make a special trip if that's where it is. Got rain?well it was a good day at camp 18, the logger memorial dedication went good. its pretty nice if you get a chance to go see it you should. they even had a jr jogging rodeo, some of thoughs kids were pretty good. wish i had more pics but my camara craped, these are cell pics.View attachment 184073View attachment 184074View attachment 184075View attachment 184076View attachment 184077
Would that be the high desert museum? If so, that's a good one also. They used equipment quite different from what we're used to over here on the west side. Have you ever stopped by that saw museum in Amboy? I think it's owned by Wayne Sutton. He used to be a Stihl dealer years ago. He still might be. He's got about everything you can imagine. He's got a pic on Madsens website under "photo album."Yup, on Hwy 26. There is also another good one on Hwy 97 in southern Or.I stopped there a couple of years ago, but can't remember what town it was by?

I think ya'll are fortunate to have a logging community and culture out there.
I've not stopped at the one in Amboy. Another one on the list. I think Gologit answered my question on the on the one in Southern Or. I do believe it was north of Klamath Falls. I just saw in the paper this last week that they closed Camp 6 at Pt Defiance Park in Tacoma.Would that be the high desert museum? If so, that's a good one also. Yes, we are. Unfortunately most people don't understand the importance of what the logging community has done for the Pacific NW. This country was founded on the timber industry and now people just want to forget that it existed and that's it's not important.I think ya'll are fortunate to have a logging community and culture out there.
