Is the Poulan 2600 the same saw as one of the small Husky's?

Mattinky , from what I've read on acresinternet the Poulan 2600 is a 40cc saw with an aluminum cylinder and a chrome plated piston . I don't know if Husky made one like that . Maybe SawTroll can help .

Checked IPL on a Poulan 2600. It showed 2 cylinder numbers. A 36cc and a 40cc cylinder. Checked another site and those cylinders are used on a Husqvarna 136 and 141.

No biggie, I was just wondering. I have a non-runner and just looking at it sitting on the shelf it looks a whole lot like one of the smaller Husky's. I was looking at parts for it on ordertree.com and when I looked up some of the part numbers Husky parts came up too. Matt

No they are not the same. Don't know why the poulan 2600 IPL listed 2 different sized cylinders.

Ray , some times the poulan IPLs have more than one model covered .
