Some help deciding whether to purchase this Carlton or not would be greatly appreciated.

1999 Carlton 2400 professional stump grinder. Kohler 25HP motor with recent service (new regulator) and new battery. Have extra bits and tools for changeout.

3300.00

What is it worth if not the asking price?

Thank You.

How many hours? Can you trust whomever is selling it that the hour meter is correct? (I've been there) What else has been done to it? (bearings, belts, etc) What kind of teeth are on it? Does it come with a trailer? Does it have the dual wheels?

Sounds like a deal to me.....I paid more than that for mine, with a small trailer.

All depends on the conditions though. So far I've been very happy with the 2400, but I don't grind nearly as many stumps as lots of others.

fair price, check over the machine hours,,,,,, gosh that 25 horse kohler is a dog though....

Yes it sounds right on the price but I wont consider a small
grinder. I sold mine and got a sixty horse diesel and it sweeps 67 inches
and eats wood. I can't compete with a small machine.

for $3300, you can do a bunch of stumps and sell it on here for $3500 and someone will buy it.
