This is becoming epidemic around here, oh and you need to fill the trunk and backseat with booming bass speakers and then play lousy music that can be heard from the next county.

But make sure there is no mid and high range at all!!! Biggest amp you can get for the sub, run the other speakers off the deck, crank it up to the most possible distortion level and make sure everything on the car rattles!!!! Yeah, I miss the old days, we made it all loud!
I HATE those mufflers/resonators these kids are using!! What ever happened to a Cherry bomb? At least you gaind a little more power out of it!

Since you guys were talking about funny little cars with 3lb coffee can mufflers, we got a bunch of them floating around here. I guess it just shows how deprived the kids are now days. I guess I understand since I was in the "teenage hotrod crowd" once also. The kids just want something fast and cool, and they aren't as lucky to have the same batch of left over cars we had. Everything had a V-8 and if you were lucky it was a big block. Fours' and sixes'?..., PASSS.
I remember trying to get my dad to buy me a set of radials because they made more noise when you ripped the pavement off the street with them than the bias ply. Or bolting a Holly, headers, glasspacs, and of course a set of chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner on. Don't forget about the nice loud tape deck. Or how about jacking up the rear of the car to clear the 50's.
I guess I was no dumber than the kids now days. We just had better stuff to work with.

Cherry bombs and 4 bangers don't mix. My s-10 sounds like a hopped up tractor. I thought to hell with what it sounds like. All I want is a no restrictive exhaust. Maybe it will at leased sound like half a v-8. No dice.
