I was wondering if anyone in Ontario has experience with Isa's cert arborist exam. Ive decided to write the exam at one of there new computer testing centers. (PearsonVue). I could probably write it today and pass but u never know. They reccomend their study guide (at $95) but warn do not rely on the study guide alone. On their website they give a list of reccomended materials which looks pricey. Anyone else been through this?

I'm studying right now, and hoping to take the exam soon as well.
I got the big package of study guides. It was expensive, but I now know it was worth it. Some of the different materials are redundant, but one can never study too much.

I'm concerned with the tree id part myself, as I'm much better at it while walking around (as I have a feel for the ecology of what tree should be there), but not so good on paper.

good luck

k they have much good and well researched material but something needs to be fixed
How would you fix it--and is it really broke? They can't develop and print that material for free, so how can they continue producing it without selling it?

The CD set is very good, and easier to learn from for many people.
