Man, two $1000 weeks in a row! Yes! 'Tis the season, once again! Got off a $475 (my take) gig today at 4:30PM and got a call to bid a roof clearing while I loaded the truck. Got there at 5PM and told the client it would be $150 if I left the wood, $200 if I took it. She said I could leave it, and I went into high gear. Probably wasn't the smartest thing to do: Buzzing in hyperdrive on the fairly steep sloped roof while the sun was setting and I was feeling slap happy. Got everything all down and cut up for her fireplace, by 6:45PM. Home to pizza and a beer! The gal with the roof job told me she was going to offer me a beer, but I told her I'd probably end up smashing up the truck on the way home. Got a call from one of my field guys on the drive home that he got the gig I sent him to bid after the first one today. That one is a $500 roof/back yard clearing. Man, it's feast or famine in this biz, ya know! Make hay while the sun shines, and baby, it's shinin' right now!! Hope y'all are having the same experience.

Pretty much the same here. been slow for a few weeks, now this week I can't keep up.
nice to be rollin in the dough again. if it wasn't for my city contracts, I'd have rough times. they don't keep it all smooth though. they just help to fill the gaps.

Great, Im happy you are rollin. I am still staring at the phone however.

I am actually doing more than that, but you know

Same thing on my end. First day of March my cell was a ringing, from a bunch of guys with work needed help. Good to be back to the 6 day work week.

I'm glad someone is starting to get busy. We've been giving out lots of bids, but no work has turned up yet.I t really doesn't get started good around here til' the end of March.

Nothin doing here, just a lot of BS. Trying to keep from going nuts. Figure another week or two and I'll be plenty busy.

I've been slow since christmas. Theres only so much you can do to keep yourself entertained during the day, especially when money is an issue. One more episode of the peoples court and I think I will start playing in traffic.

We've been a little slow till this week too. Now I'm covered up for the next 3 weeks, and still have a few estimates to go look at. I LOVE the spring time.

You know its slow when even roofers aren't hiring........

Best o luck to ya...spread the luck this way please......

good to see the action starting back up.

Sunrise Guy, if you think $1,000 weeks are good. lets shoot for $10,000 weeks per crew, ok?
