i've been careing for this tree for about 10 years now........what do you guys think? does it have another 10 years left in it?

I guess when it finally dies and you cut it down, she's gonna want you to leave the stump 24" high so she can put a plant on it.

Nice cabling job.

:D

First time I've seen a tree where you'd START on a limb and climb DOWN the trunk!:dizzy:

she wanted me to put lights on it for the holidays but i was afraid the weight would take the tree down.

every time it snows i go by in the bucket and brush the snow off for 300.00. i was going through my records the other night and i figure i made about 35,000.00 from that tree already. i'd hate to see it go.

The only thing better is toput a plant IN it. Taht rotted wood is so fertile!

Ken that is a great job.I dont think I ever seen anything like that before. And I have worked in the woods all my life. That has to be the most interesting pic I have ever seen on AS Thanx

PS Do you have a pic when it is leaved out?

Just be sure to not wear any spikes unless you are planning on a removal...

well, i spiked the tree for the first 6 years of my topping and maintanance program. phase 1-8 then o bought the bucket, so now i only spike it once a year for fun.

ok ok ok now the truth...........it's just a tree i drive past everyday on my was to work since i moved to orange county ny. i think it's pretty cool. the one limb that is left in the spring and summer is full of leave's with no dead tip's.

just a cool pic i thought i would pass along.:D

Honestly, I'm glad to see that tree still standing. Yes, it's near it's end, but remember treetime...this tree might have DECADES left.

I can't tell in the pic, but is there a chance of it hitting the house if it were to fall?

love

I'm amazed anyone seriously thought you were caring for this tree! I was going to ask where on the Internet you found the picture. :dizzy:
