just picked up a new jameson pole prunner with an 8ft pole, Im a bit confused when it comes to putting the pruner head on the pole? do you have to drill a whole through aluminum sleeve on the pole head and put a bolt through it after the prunner is on the sleeve?or do you just put the prunner on the sleeve and it stays on the head by tieing the rope to the eyelet with a bowlin?

I did not have to drill mine. The holes all aligned properly. I have four six foot sections, and two four foot sections on my own truck. They came with saw, pruner and the four foot sections with Big Shot. They are all interchangable.

If you want to add extensions to your pole saw or other types of heads it's much easier if you go with a short section for the pole saw head. Also easier to stow away for carrying to the job.

For instance, I carry an 8ft. bottom piece pole....and two six foot extensions along witn a pole saw head on a one foot pole and a pruner head on another one foot pole.

The Big Shot throw bag launcher also fits on the eight foot pole saw base section.

Quick and easy change to any size configuration you want.
