Amoungst My Saws........Fool That Has Too Many!!!
In the below pic, you stated that you put a set of dawgs from a 660 on your 361. Do you have any part #'s? Did you use the origial side cover and just drill a hole where the nut boss is?

Also where did you het the full wrap handle

That sprocket cover isnt the stock piece from a 361. At least it didnt look like the one on mine.

If the 361 is like the older Stihls the cover is the same from the 024 up thru the 066!!!

Ben, this is just an inquiry. At this time I have no intention on putting larger dawgs on the EHP361 that you sold me!

That is the larger cover that comes on the full wrap saws from the factory.

I believe he said the handle bar was a USA handlebars that he got from Madsens's as well.

There is no factory full wrap for the 361...

Ben:
The 361 side sprocket cover is slighty different styling that the older ms360/026 etc, but it's pretty much the same adn the older units fit. Jeff's put the extended cover from an 044/046 full wrap on the 361 saw (it fits)

I know there is no factory full wrap for a 361, I was meaning the 440-660 full wraps.

Sorry to leave you guys hanging. I'm on vacation right now, and have been away from a computer. This is my first log-on in a while. May be my last for a while. Anyway....

The dogs are from a 44/46/660. I don't have the P/N with me, but I'm sure Lakeside or someone can wrangle it up for you. If not, I can PM it to you when I get home next week. I did have to do some metal work to them to get the inner and outter dog to line up. They both bolt right up to the 361, but to get them to line up, you have to grind and redrill the outter dog. And like Lakeside said the clutch cover is from a 44/46/66 full wrap. I had to do some minor metal work to it to get it to fit, but it was nothing a Dremel and a hand file couldn't handle.

And yes, the handlebar is a USA from Madsen's. They've got a true full wrap, which I had, and after about two months of me pestering them and the guys at USA they put out the 3/4 "factory" style you see in the pic. Both are $50 I think.

What is the difference between a full wrap and 3/4 wrap?

fishhuntcutwood said:
Yeah, the full wrap is like what you'll find on a Husky, whereas the 3/4 is what you see in the pic. I like the 3/4 better.

Is USA the same co. that makes the aftermarket replacement bars for Bailey's? I put one on a 272 a year or two ago. The rubber didn't hold worth a hoot.

How are your's holding up?

fishhuntcutwood said:
It's holding up great. And I'd heard somewhere that Bailey's is selling bars made in China or something like that, and that they USED to sell USA handlebars.

What did that bar cost? Also in the original post I asked if you used the original sprocket cover. Did you notice the nut bosses in there? All you would have to do is drill holes to access them.
