well, finally running the 2 trucks, got everything (mostly) set and and good to go

HUGE time saver, we can roll up and deploy a climber, groundie, chipper, dump trailer and the excavator in under 15 minutes! we used to have about 3 hours of driving every day

that truck turns tighter than the pickup truck we run, im planning to build a removable hard top to go on it since I doubt the tarp will hold up long, and the sides wobble a little so the doors are extremely difficult to shut, they don't wobble much but its just enough to annoy me

also, im super stoked that I finally have all my chipper lights working, and theres 16 brand new tires in that pic! the dump truck and chipper needs some TLC, nothing major, I did just get a TIG welder so im going to fix the cracks in the fenders and tool boxes, planning to repaint the chipper and re-sticker it so it looks new

I miss having a lift, but I can rent when needed, planning to possibly get an under CDL crane, something with about 65-70ft of boom and won't break driveways, just for the smaller jobs where we need to go up and over stuff, won't replace the excavator or a bigger crane, but we do a fair bit of jobs where I could save some time and money having my own "toy crane" like this little guy

won't be able to do jobs nearly as big as the bigger crane (duh) but it would go to a LOT of jobs still

Just found this one on marketplace, won't be the one I buy but close to what I want

under CDL, 56+18ft 10 ton, capcity 1K at 50ft, 2800 at 30ft (at full extent and no jib)

You should look into Spider Cranes, like the Hoefflon that UPEQUIP sells. I've never run one, but the should get you the ability to get it into a tight backyard (they get through a 36" gate).

We don't have gates here, spider cranes are cool but little to no chart and reach

Always wanted one, but they are really for working indoors, not tree work, plus a boom truck drives itself and can haul logs, a spider needs another truck and trailer (making me take 3 trucks instead of 2, i don't have a third driver)

Plus, boom truck can be had for 30 grand, not sure about a spider
