Johnson wood stove

I'm loving mine so far. 
This will be my second season with it. Actually mine is kind of a hybrid. I had contracted for a Johnson, but while we were working out the details, my dealer informed me that the fabricator in my area for the Johnsons went out on his own. Mine is actually identical to the Johnsons but has a grate on either side of the large angled steel plate in the bottom of the fire box.
That makes cleanout through the lower blower door a breeze even with a full load and boy does she burn with the blower blowing up through the grate plus the blower in the main door.
One thing the Johnsons don't have is the water jacket type door, but the jury is still out on how important that really is :monkey: , at least for me.
