I always seem to forget to post up any pics of my milling. I'll see if I can wrangle some together and add some info. I have a home made norwood knock off. All manual. 13 hp. I stack my logs next to the mill and roll them on as needed. I have made a few projects with the wood, a couple small barns and play houses. Sold a couple 1000 board feet via craigslist or at auctions. Recently sold a few thick center cut slabs for counter tops or mantles. Have cut lots of oak, a few maples, walnuts, and some Ash. I have done a few fruit trees for fun as well mainly for people who have a log they want to cut up and use out of their yard.

Shoot, I can't get it to load more than one pic at a time. I'll have to work on this later when I have more time.

I take em all if I can get em. I can always split them with a chainsaw or use a slabbing bar and chain. Usually that is too much work anymore, and I figure something else out. I have whittled a wide crotch down by standing it vertically until it fit through. I can go to 28", that one had some humps on the opposite side that were hitting the wheels.

Thanks for posting! Anyone who can build a working band sawmill from scratch has really accomplished something . Curious about the comment about it being a "Norwood knockoff", though. Other than turning a band saw blade with a small gas motor, I don't see a whole lot of resemblance. Looks like you've got some nice wood!
