Joker steps up to the plate... thanks

Recently a problem has arised, (I'll explain in a bit) and on a wing and a pryer I called Joker (Russ) last night. I told him that because of this issue I would not be able to travel to Ed's for the party. After a little discussion we met at a Bass Pro in Alburn, NY. Where I turned over my 3120 Marcel to his care to take to Ed for me. Not many people you will ever meet will be willing to go out of their way to help someone like this. For that I and thankfull to Russ. Since he wouldn't take money then this is the next best thing. Also, this is the first time we have ever met each other.

Now the issue,......
Gretchen will be in surgery Thurday morning to remove a sist like structure (located on/next to rt ovary) that has blood flow through it. Thats the short and easy explination. She will be in the hospital atleast till monday. And then another 4-6 weeks of bed rest. This is a hard time in that she is now 24-5 (24 weeks 5days) into the pregnacy. The bubble week is 26.

I come up to about Jokers chin and on a winter day in Canada could easily hide in his shadow...

But I half to admit only spending an hour in Bass Pro is so very hard...

Thurs 2:30 update

Thanks everyone,
Gretchen came out of surgery very good. The sist appears benine and the bleeding was not an issue. Rest is for the rest of today and tonight. She is a hurting unit from the surgery. I'll update as things progress and I acctualy come home.

Well I am doing something right now that I thought that I would not be doing...... I am writing you from the hospital room that gretchen is in. On a computer provided by the hospital setup in the entertainment system.

Gretchen is up and walking around on short trips. Like up the 50' hall and back. She is also disconnected from all of the tubes of fun and joy that pumped drugs into her. As for the sist it has been removed and everything else still remains .
If all goes well she should be on her way home Saturday afternoon. My only request is that she can climb stair before we leave. If you have ever been to my house you would understaind why.
