Anyone have a jonsered 2050 (or Husqvarna 40, 45, 49) who can snap a photo of the throttle linkage as it routes to the carb? Rebuilt one this weekend and can't get the linkage just right. Throttle cable is captured under the air filter bracket as it should be but from there my cable rubs against the carb castings and will not let the butterfly close completely when trigger is released. A simple photo could be a big help...............Ax.

I know it is a "consumer saw" but anything made in Sweeden deserves a little love..................right? :msp_biggrin:

Just done a Husqvarna 45. The cable threads through small gap between the carburetor body and the tapered idle adjustment screw.
I know this thread is old now but maybe this might help others. Not the easiest setup to work on.

I just finished rebuilding the carb on mine. You need to remove the handle assembly to make room to work. Fully open the carb linkage and with a long set of needle nose pliers thread the cable through the "J" opening of the linkage. This is my sons saw. He needs to start some where!
