I am pulling apart a jonsered 2094 tonight in prep to map the cylinder. During my research I saw a few questions and speculations on how to get a Husqvarna 394/395 cylinder to bolt down on the 2094 cases. My answer is:
Without a great amount of machine work, it's not going to happen.
First, the cylinder mounting bolts are mm's away from the same pattern. 10 mm wider front to back on the 2094 vs the 395 and 1.5mm narrower on the 2094 vs the 395.
Also, 6mm would have to be machined off of the base of a 395 cylinder for the squish to be the same as the stock squish on a 2094.
Amongst other port timing issues, these mentioned are very big obstacles to overcome.
