Yesterday I went to the local small engine shop for a new bar and other things I could'nt live without, The owner tried to get me to buy a 2186, fourtunatley I was excersising extreme sales resistance. Do any of you guys own one of these and if so how do you like it? I was informed that our fair city has purchased one for big stuff. 6.5 horse I beleive.

it's basicly the same as a husky 385xp in black and red.

I already own a J-Red, and a Husky, thinking about a 395xp real strong!

For some odd reason the 2186 has a bit more weigh and less power than the 385. I doubt that you would notice the differences in use though.

A more serious matter to consider regarding the Jred is the :censored: inconvenient streight across front handle.
