I picked up a 2188 project that’s missing the recoil, top cover, chain cover, & brake. I’m wondering will a top cover & recoil from a 385/390 bolt up & work? See a lot more of these parts than jonsered & cheaper also.

Hell of a project starting point- have fun. 
No idea if a 385/390 top cover will fit, but you would just NEED to dye it black if it does.
