Jonsered 2252 won't take a .050mil bar and chain..

Hi everyone,
Just bought a new Jonsered 2252. The saw runs like a champ. It came with a .058mil bar out of the box. Every thing was fine until I tried to fit a .050mil bar.. It won't take it ! The chain is pinched and won't turn. This bar fits on other saws ex: 346xp, 2153, 550xp.
Is anyone running a 2252 with narrow kerf ?

My 2252 has a .050 gauge bar and runs 20 lpx or 23rs chain just fine. I think that on a 2252, if you run a pixel or nk bar, you have to use nk chain like 95vpx or 20nk chain to prevent the binding. On my 350 and 346, I can use a pixel or nk bar with nk or regular kerf .325 chain without the binding problem.

Try it with 20nk or 95vpx or H30 chain. It sounds like you have a pixel bar, which is .050 gauge but made for nk chain.

Thanks for the info Rburg. I tried with a h30 chain and it stills doesn't spin. I'll repost on the chainsaw forum.
