Difference between hard wood and pine is significant , but one is the "angle" u have to approach the limbs when breaking it down. Pine it is easier to go along the tree, in parallel. Hard wood perpendicular. SO here is a demonstration of small saw in hard wood tops. Is it a liability?? But Also using vintage Jonsereds.
