This is my first post on this site and I just wanted to say to everyone how great it is! A very useful tool.

I have three partial Jonsered 80 saws. I would like to get one of them going. I do not have any carburetors for these saws.

From what I have found the J-red 80 came with a Tillotson HS-101B carburetor. I also believe that you can still purchase a new HS-101C. Does anyone know the difference between these two carbs? Are they 100% compatible? Anyone have a used HS-101B that they want to part with?

I chose the core that was in the best condition and have torn it down. The bearings were smoked. Any advice on putting it back together would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for a set of bearings, seals, and a complete gasket kit for this saw.

What I would like to do is trade some of the extra parts that I am not going to use to get the ones that I need. Hopefully someone else out there is in the same boat and we can help each other out.

Thanks!

Welcome aboard. if you need help with Jonsered saws, THE guy to talk to is George Blake aka Motorsag here. he'll likely have the answers, and probably parts you need.

Why not look on the Tillotson website?

www.tillotson.ie

If you can't find the info you need, just e-mail them. I've contacted them before and found them quick to reply and fairly helpful.
