Cant seem to raise George Blake via email, anyone know if hes out of town? Need a carb kit for my 910E so I can get some work done, anyone on here have such an item. Thnx bman

thats good news, probably an HS carb, which would call for an RK23HS kit, which you can get from baileys for about $13 shipped, thats probably a touch high, but its close to the actual total price.

a 910 is a great saw,and the carb is a good one. of all the saws i own the 910e i have is the only one ill never sell. i like it better than any stihl or husky i own.the kit is a rk23hs i think. if you ever feel like partin with that saw id appreciate first crack at it. id like another one and those saws arent easy to find.

I too, have a soft spot for 910's. My Dad has had one since new,(late 70's) It's on it's 3rd bar, still runs great and pulls hard. I don't know the wieght but it seems light and nimble for the power it puts out. You can burry the 24" bar dead oak with no problem.

definitley my favorite saw by far. beating my 372 and my 066. theres nothing like a jonnyred

Thanks all for the input. Heard from George Blake this evening, hes got a kit for it so Ill just have him put it in the mail. Nice fellow. I picked up this little red tub from the local saw shop, I think it came in for repairs and the owner never came back. For better or worse I Jumped right on it at $150 The power head seems fresh, no scoring, it just need a bunch of little stuff and I went ahead and replaced the bar and chain. Gonna be my minimill edger to go along with the alaskan and 3120, yippee!

Who's George Blake?? I assume he's a Johnsered parts guy?? If so, can i have his contact info?? I'm looking for some rings, and maybe a jug/piston for a 920...

thanks
Ron

He knows all there is to know about Jonsereds!!! :Eye:

And all this time I thought it was Mange who knows all there is to know about Jonsereds . BTW the carb kit is available from several sources, but I'll bet that George's price was very competitive.

No, Chris, I am off the mark, remember ;)
George is the one and only Jonny king in my opinion.

Several times he has helped me ID and I learned most I know of him.
He is a walking saw dictionary!!!!!!!!

No doubt about that!
It seems that all the good info on old Jreds originates from George in some way or another, even though it may be posted by others on different forums etc.
