This is my first time posting on this site. Feed back is much appreciated.

I have a jonsered 930 super that I'm looking to part out.
The saw is complete minus the rear handle mounts. Seems to have good compression and fired up with gas poured in the carb. Let me know what you need and let's make a deal. I ma be interested in trades.

Hmm. Tempting. I have a few of this platform. Great saws. Shipping would probably be killer though.
What kind of trades you looking for? Can you post some pics of the saw?

I will post a couple pics. Have someone interested in the p/c and clutch cover. Will keep post updated. Not sure what shipping would be. Could find out.

I'd be interested in parts for
257/262xp
61,266,268, 272.
357/359.
385/390
288xp
Anything in these saw lines or cross over parts.

I was wondering if the 930 cylinder would fit my 920, doing a little digging through the archives I would say no. Sounds like the 930 ports start in the case, where the 920 is strictly in the cylinder. Is this correct? Ive heard the 930 has a little more zip than the 920, probably from the improved porting?

930 piston and cylinder will absolutely fit a 920. Porting is improved on the 930. I will step back if you want the p/c for your 920. I would want the whole thing anyhow. Do yourself a favor and get the complete air filter/ top cover set up from the 930 as well. Much improved over the 920.

I believe you are right about the porting, but I believe the cylinder should work. The early 930's were apparently like the 920's and some were milled to add the ports. The late 930's are ported. I'll pull it apart and see what I've got.

I appreciate the gesture. I gotta figure out what we're looking at for shipping, then see if the wife will authorize the purchase lol. Thank you!

No problem. If you have any questions about this model let me know. If you guys don't reach a deal maybe both saws could find a home here with their brothers. Lol.

Here are some pics of the saw. Its been torn down as I have someone interested in the p/c, clutch cover, and intake parts.
I can take pics of individual parts.
PM me with any questions. 20171008_193359.jpg 20171008_193412.jpg 20171008_193428.jpg 20171008_193442.jpg

Bern a good candidate for a restore/rebuild. I like these old jreds. I have a heated handle 820 . They are torque monsters in stock form.

according to (cantdog)some of the 920 cylinders of the latter offerings
were rewoked at the factory before they were released on the market
and as the former 910 e had the better performance cylinders

Hi i know this is old news but im looking for the west coast air filter set up for one of my 930 builds and perhaps some parts for the full wrap bar?
i also have parts and some new old stock bits and pieces 4 or 5 recoil housings .
Thanks for reading have a great day people!!!!

920 parts for sale.

The bad:
No clutch cover.
Larger top cover (cylinder cover) is cracked.
Case is corroded, not the best for a rebuild.
No front handle (full wrap or half wrap).

Let me know what you need. 20180503_124825.jpg 20180503_125102.jpg 20180503_124929.jpg 20180503_125054.jpg 20180503_124825.jpg 20180503_125102.jpg 20180503_124929.jpg 20180503_125054.jpg
