Jonsered muffler mod

Today I desided to give my saw a little more power by modding the muffler. It was acually pretty easy. I did a through the bracket mod with the screen in between the bracket and the muffler. I only got to test it on a couple peices of red oak so far, and can already tell the difference. I already richened up the carb, but is there anything else i should do? I thing by next week I will already have it ported and polished.

Sounds like you already have everything covered! I did a muffler mod to my 2159 and it really picked up! I went with a non cat and put in a pipe looks like the European muffler now, a bit louder than it was before but I always wear earmuffs anyway!But for me hind sight is always 20/20 I should have talked to my dealer he said he would have warrantied it even if I modded the cat muffler as he himself hates them!As long as I let the tech look at it and put a tack on it.But then I have been going there for 15 years, so they know me.
