Want to Buy jred 625 carb/intake

Looking at my options to build a saw for my dad. I have a 630 jug and slug but am uneasy using it due to some damaged plating between the transfer on both sides of jug. So i have this 625 jug and slug but no intake and carb. Unless someone knows how to adapt a 630 carb to a 625 for external pulse hose. Thank you. This is the un touched 630 jug can it be saved and used somehow maybe.

I have my 625 setup out and im looking at the base gasket and it really in the transfer port area. Should i trim this away.

On a 670 that I was building,I drilled a hole in the plate on the carb and installed a barb with Loctite sealer.It's in the same place as the Factory would put it on an external pulse carb.

Thats good to know. What do you think about that gasket hanging into the transfer port.
