When changing knives on the chipper.......did ya ever drop the knife into the small side of the disk housing?? Fun is..

I've never dropped the knife but I have dropped the flat washer, nut and bolt and any tool that was within my grasp. I have a magnet on a stick also.

Crank the chipper up and engage the wheel. It will come right on out! ;)

Thought I was the only one who done this one, only when I did it it wsorta flipped itself into a recess under the rollers. Had to flick it out with a long hand-saw then try and catch it on the other blade, turn the fly-wheel slowly and pick it up like that. Not the easiest technique, and didnt come out first time, but got there in the end. :blob2:

Wow...good one..?? !!?? :dizzy:

I got it out threw the feed wheels. It was jammed in and really no space for a stick or magnet.
