Just bought a bandit 1390hd. It's the 15". I live in pittsburgh and have been wanting to try a bandit for years. Finally a reputable company picked up the bandit line. Bye bye Vermeer. Just wanted to know if anybody else owns one of these.

I bought a chipper from them 4-5 years ago. It was in there rental fleet tho before they where a dealer. I rent a good bit of stuff from there.

We bought one last year. Been very happy with it. Mostly does line clearance work but that crew does removals here and there.
At 97 HP its are smallest chipper but it will handle anything that will fit in it. It's been trouble free so far

This one has all the bells and whistles with a deer 140 hp. Wanted to get one this year before the tier 4s. I like it so far. Only put 6 hrs on it. Glad to not be married to Vermeer anymore. No problems at all huh?

I definately had a good experience at knickerbocker. Sam was my salesman. I think they'll stand behind their product. Only time will tell

This isn't you? Ya done it before.

Well, yeah, but that comment wasn't aimed at you...I wasn't trying to say anything bad towards you. You have never given me any ammunition to come back with a smart assed comment aimed at you.

I have been a bandit guy for years. For many years a 250xp.. last year bought a 1590 with the 140 Perkins. Winch over sized feed. I cant believe it still how it eats wood. like 21 inches side and 19 inches high and it is rated as a 17 inch capacity chipper. So far so GREAT! Keep her greased and take care of her! The only down side is I wish they had a wider rim to accept a wider tire like the 250's due to the weight they changed the rims to a much heavier duty rim but can only take a certain width tire.

No doubt, the 1590 has been talked about for quite some time, sticks and twigs for the smaller sized jobs, thats why they made the 1390 moving forward in the drum series chippers. lighter for back yards. Chip on! Up those IRONS!
