local dealer had one left.i'm surprised it was there that long.he said everyone was buying the 575 and he tried to convince me to do the same.i stuck to my guns and got it with a 20" bar and a stihl 33 RSC chain for $667 out the door.cut's smooth as glass.can't wait til it's broken in.i could have gotten one cheaper but i've bought a few saws off the internet and i'm trying to help the local guys.they have always been good to me for parts.we really take these guys for granted some times.a good dealer that is willing to work with you and has fair prices needs to make a buck.especially a family run business.so,if you're ever in central CT give Cofiell's a try.they are more of a Stihl dealer but they do sell Husky and have two great guys in the parts department.

I bought my 372xp from them as well. Congrats. Enjoy a great saw.

thanks SawTroll!

unfortunately i am out of logs.where are the liberals when you need them to provide for you?

I picked up a 372xpw its on its way along with a dolmar 5100s
Bailey's rules middletown doesn't have a husky dealer :(
Im going to put a 20 inch bar on the 372 I hope it rips!

i like bailey's alot,don't get me wrong.

you can't beat their prices or service.unfortunately i need parts right away sometimes and i am always amazed at the stuff Cofiell's has had IN stock.sure they have had to order for me but oh well.i bought my husky blower there cheaper than i could get it anywhere and they don't sell husky blowers.they had it the next day though.worth the wait.it's worth the drive from middletown.i'll show you were they are and introduce you to them.i enjoy seeing a family owned and operated business from time to time.

we should have a get together of the CT guys someday.we could operate dangerous equipment under the influence of alchohol and tell politically incorrect jokes.just kidding.i just think it would be fun to get together and shoot the $hit.i don't mind working on saws for folks with my same interests.you're welcome to use my chain grinder as well.

I'm in!

check this video of the 5100s

This is a great smooth saw
this is the first tak of fuel
so im really only given it 3/4 throttle
great anti vibe
got it from baileys
i went to cofiells pretty nice dealer
my fav dealer in ct so far is butlers in west hartford on new park ave
they have stihl and husky also

butler is ok.i hate driving there.

cofiells isn't the best for arborist supplies (none).but for an all around dealer who is close i can't ask for better.plus i admire a family owned and operated business.i work all over the state so i visit several saw shops.
Butler has a great selection and some arborist supplies.i have sent several people there to buy equipment.they do need to get better organized and better communication.poor management is all i can figure.they have been hiring for over a year.i applied at least a year ago and never heard from them.i made a few comments about it and they acted shocked that i applied.i am WAY over qualified to work there and make way to much now to consider it.i just thought i would try it since i love the industry so much.their loss.

i did just go there this morning to buy a new climbing harness and three people saw me looking and no one offered any assistance.i thought that was unprofessional as hell.maybe i'm old school .who knows.maybe they have enough money and don't care anymore.

there is a great guy in stafford............

or stafford springs who is a husky dealer.nice guy and seems very knowledgable.little whole in the wall from the road but i liked him.good selection.
