We have one similar to that in the basement. It really kicks out some heat once you get it going but it goes through wood alot faster than the #3 we have in the living room. The price the guy wants is a bit steep, too at least in my opinion- not that jotul's aren't exceptional stoves...

We have a 600 in the basement. This is our third season with it! It does the job! Our log home (2500sq. ft.) is kept comfortable with it!
