I was thinkin'..........is there a book or website depicting the values of various brands of saws? Also maybe how the value relates to a general saw condition mechanically/cosmetically? I always see many AS posts comcerning: "whats a **** saw worth?" It would be cool if someone could put some resources together and come up with a solid guideline to go by. Cruising the internet and looking at Ebay saws or other online auction sites often confuse me when it comes to price. If anything saws are always marked up when placed on these auction sites. I find myself (I'm sure other AS members too), asking the questions........."whats an 044 worth in fair running conditon?" for example. Maybe someone else on here can shed some light on this?

Good idea!!

By the way my book show $25 for the 044 in great shape and I'd even be big enough to throw in the $10 for the shipping. Just make everything $25 and all the buyers will be happy.

I got $186 for my homelite 360 W/ 20" bar & 3 chains on ebay this past fall.
At least thats what one person was willing to pay for good one.

I advertised that I had just rebuilt the carb and put a new carb boot & gasket on it, which i did.
