Kerosene and bar oil

Two saws this last week, one with bar oil in gas tank, one with kerosene. I got the kerosene washed thru there without disassembly but not the bar oil.

You guys run into much of that kind of thing?

about 1 a week. try getting molasses(spelling?) out of both tanks.

I've had guys fill the wrong tanks on my Echo a couple times. I got the bar lube out of the fuel line and carb by removing the line from the carb and spraying carb cleaner in it.

yep that oil in the gas stinks.a lot more trouble than i imagined it would be.what surprises me is i havnt done it to my echo yet.
put oil in the gas tank ,i mean.

Just be sure to use synthetic oil.

The gas and oil caps are the exact opposite placement on my Echo v. my Stihls. So once in a great while if I'm not paying attention and its been a long day.... guilty as charged.
