I'm not really trying to kill this saw but I did wanted to push this saw pretty good. I am showing a bunch of videos detailing the progress of modding this hybrid. This saw has a 42MM 346 cylinder and a meteor piston. Let me know what everyone thinks made the biggest difference or what didn't make difference. It was very fun and interesting getting to involve some science into testing a chain saw. In the future I may go after the transfer port timing or who knows maybe nitro-meth.
mod I was just the muffler port
mod II was gasket matching the transfer ports
mod III was the lowing of intake port
mod IV was the lowing of the intake a second time
mod V the exhaust was widened to %70
mod VI the exhaust was raised to 155 degrees
mod VII the exhaust was widened by the mating surface to the muffler
mod VII the base gasket was deleted decreasing the squish from .049" to .023"
