Knee ascender loop

I'm using a knee ascender for srt. Putting on the foot loop was kind of a pain and taking it off in the tree was awkward. I liked the idea of a clip on system, but didn't want to spend $250 for a pair of clip on boots. So I took a pair of shoes and sewed a one inch webbing strap to the uppers. I've climbed on this about 20 times, and it seems to be holding up ok. I used a speedy stitcher and put 15 stitches on each side.

Looks good. I use the SAKA so I just leave the foot loop on all day and unclip the ascender when I need it off. Yours is probably as sturdy as the clip n steps.
