I personally think it could speed up rigging throughout the normal work day. Its rated at 4,600 lbs WLL and can handle up to 3/4" ropes. Not bad on the price either.

I don't think they're gonna be happy until they kill somebody with this crap. I'm just glad I'm old and set in my ways (mostly).. I would feel like a fag playing around with that thing. JMO.

I am not sure why you would want a metal connector in the system while chunking down.

I bet you could bend the crap outta it on a small diameter piece. Wonder if it would hold, I dont think I would trust it.

I just don't get this whole knotless rigging fad. The ends of my rigging lines are the most abused portions of rope that I own. Loading the rope in the same exact spot day after day just seems like a horrible idea to me. Even if it were to shave a few seconds here or there the risk just isn't worth it.

That metal connector will get slammed and fail at some point if using it to chunk down, and that never has a good outcome.
