Know anywhere in NE PA to buy rope/gear

came out east to visit my family for this next week, talked to my dad he wants me to prune some trees in the yard, i have a saddle, laynard and hand saw at his house but i have no climbing line, i told him if he wants me to prune his trees i need a new rope.. Does anyone know where i can go buy a rope around broadheadsville, or stroudsburgh i would just order one but i dont want to wait for it to get here

I'm in the Pottsville area (about 50 miles north of Reading) and I have nowhere around here to buy rope and gear. The few places that did carry supplies no longer do. The owner of one store told me that his insurance rates went sky high because of this gear so he stopped selling it. I guess the stores are responsible if they sell faulty equipment and can be sued if someone gets hurt or killed because of it. I have to buy all my stuff online.

I get some gear at Penn Holo Saws in Skippack Pa. That is probably about a 2 hr ride south for you but they stock plenty of climbing stuff. 610-584-0877

There's a place in the Grove City oulets that sells some gear, but more for linemen and stuff like that.

Hey treemergency right in the boyertown area we have passmore service center. They just started carrying some climbing supplies. Not a huge selection but all the popular stuff. The number is 610 367 9084. We are about 45 minutes north of philly so we may be a little far south for you. In westchester there is a place called arborist supply def. a climbers candy store.

Hart Rescue in East Stroudsburg has a great selection of rope and other cordage on hand. Don't know the number off hand but it is easy to find their site via google. Open Saturdays as well I believe.
