Taylors Environmental Group is currently seeking climbing arborists with demonstrated experience in the power & infrastructure industry to carry out tree care operations in the Greater Melbourne Metropolitan area. If you would like to further your career within a growing company and have a genuine passion for working within the amenity tree care industry then we want to hear from you.


In this varied role, you will be performing all aspects of an arborist's duties on-site such as:

· Pruning, visual tree assessment and removals

· Ensuring all safety procedures are followed

· Vegetation management (climbing) within the vicinity of electrical lines


You will also need leadership qualities including:

· Initiative

· Confident decision making

· Excellent verbal communication skills


To be considered for this role you will have:

· Minimum VESI requirements

· Remove trees in confined spaces

· Chainsaw level 3

· Amenity tree pruning techniques

· Aerial rescue covering tree hazard and risk assessment

· Undertake standard climbing techniques

· Harness climbing

· A trade qualification in arboriculture with demonstrated experience in all aspects of tree pruning and care

· CI card

· The ability to work well at heights

· Enthusiasm and physical fitness

· M/R or H/R license an advantage

· Minimum of 400 hours on a climbing worksite performing climbing duties (lead Climber) & 150 hrs (team climber)

· Experience as a safety observer



All training must be up to date, refresher and continued training and development will be provided.
