After they closed the Sherrills store in Wmsbg, VA , I missed the camaraderie that most treeclimbers share.
Getting to communicate with you guys is an incredible method of learning. I know I have a lot to learn, and maybe a little to share.
Hearing from people all over is helping me big time.
My wife's mad at the computer time, anybody else feel that pain?
Oh well, climbing is an experience that most people don't understand anyway.
Thanks everybody.
Dave

pic is one of my biggest trees ever. whole lot of fun, too.
ran around in it with an 036, 20" dropping stuff everywhere.

Good lookin boy there. Looks like he's following in Dad's footsteps! :)

I must agree about the fellowship we climbers can enjoy here and on other forums. I quit climbing at 34, I thought I was burned out on it. I thought the back injury was going to permanently prevent me from climbing again anyway. Then I found this site and started reading all kinds of interesting stuff. I finally got back in a tree about a year ago after being laid up for the better part of 2 years and I've progressed more in the last year than I did in the previous 10.
Thanks to all I've learned here from many progressive climbers, I'm better than I've ever been in my career. I also look forward to each and every day that I get to play in the trees and get paid for it! :D

Fun looking tree job there, kind of an optical illusion , looked small till I saw you in the top! Looks like another donor in the background too.
Cool that your kid is getting into it. I just climbed my first rock wall a couple days ago at a sporting goods shop near me, gotta take my kids there soon!
