Learning tree climbing and cutting?

im intrested to learn more about in tree cutting and tree climbing. where are good places to learn? (im in maryland)

I started working for a company on the ground. Got a friend who is a arborist to teach me to set a rope and learn to climb the rope first and then practice moving around in the tree. Keep in mind I have not even mentioned using a chainsaw in the tree yet.. I first started learning to climb a year ago and still do not consider myself a climber so know it is not something to just jump into.

Bartlett, Davey and The Care of Trees have offices in the area. I would suggest you start there. Be prepared to pass a piss test. Also, if you can get a CDL that is a plus.
