Get ready for all the big bad bullies to start chiming in... :rolleyes2:

I started working for a company on the ground. Got a friend who is a arborist to teach me to set a rope and learn to climb the rope first and then practice moving around in the tree. Keep in mind I have not even mentioned using a chainsaw in the tree yet.. I first started learning to climb a year ago and still do not consider myself a climber so know it is not something to just jump into.

Training for entry-level tree workers

Tree Climbers International offers courses in Atlanta taught by Peter Jenkins, a 30-year veteran of tree work and climbing.
