Lightning Protection

I have installed Lightning protection on White Pine trees in the past it and was very easy to figure out how to bill for the install and hardware. I now am asked to bid on two (2) very large oaks in my area . One (1) Oak is over 48 dbh the other a little smaller and their canopy's are very wide (100 feet on the larger one)and around 80 to 100 feet tall. I know its a broad question but how do you guys (that have installed before) figure out the total cost before hand? I have a client that needs a cost immediately and this is a lot harder for me to figure and be fare to all involved. Thanks.
