Just saw this video on how to make a holder for small diameter wood. I may need to call in a favor with one of my welding friends to help me make one. That type a wood is kind of a pain to cut by yourself and I have about 2 cords of small diameter poles cut from 3"-8". Wanted to see what you guys thought.

That's an adaptation of a couple products already out on the market.

...and there are at least a couple more designs for sale that I didn't bother to link.

While I like cutting at a comfortable height and I give them credit for being clever, I don't like adding work to get one log up to that height. I prefer to cut them on the ground or throw a bunch of them into an H-FRAME holder/sawbuck and then cut.

A better homebuilt solution. Cut a whole bunch at one time:

I do not like wranglerstar very much. He is a big fan of stealing other people's ideas. For a short time, when I first started looking for ideas on wood burning, I followed lots of his stuff until I realized, as Treepointer did on this subject, he was just claiming other people's ideas as his own. I think what really soured me was when he decided that a plane was a good substitute for a jointer/planer and that a utility knife was a good substitute for a tape and a pencil for accurate measurements.
