Here it is. There weren't many dry days last week.

The lumber is from Beaver, WA, Tomahawk, WI and some chip stuff from canada.
Here's the plumbing so far.

The Used dog, the Barbie Saw, and I spent the day burning slash in the rain. I had a hotdog roast, then the dog ruined my all natural, sustainable hot dog stick. When you smell your hair starting to scorch, you know you have a decent burn going. :)

Thanks. They mentioned 3 to 5 months. I think with the weather, they're saying the S word again, August? My labor hasn't done much but pick up garbage and burn slash. I'll make the crew some cookies this week and maybe that will inspire them to do great work. Saw a house they just finished and it was so nice. It too, was a small one.

My greatest problem is making all the decisions on all the accessories--like doors, cabinets, plumbing, etc.

That armchair looks a bit out of place on a construction site.

Only if has cup holders, arm rests, and surround sound.

How about taking a picture of what your view out the front room windows will be?

It'll be trees. One window does look to the north where the peaks are. Due to the shape of the ridgetop, and because I want to take advantage of the sun, the windows are on the East and West sides. Yeah, that is a good view, but light and sun are important here. Very important. Actually, the shop sits where the house should have been for the best view of the view. But I didn't want to live in it or tear it down.

I think they were enjoying being in the sun on Friday. I went out and it felt like summer on top of the flooring. The last house they built was in a cold, shady spot. The crew is liking this location.

Alas! There's an inch of white stuff on the ground this morning and it is still coming down. Yup, I'm thinking August, for move in.

The framing and roof and siding go pretty quick, well should as long as they arent overbooked, but those days might be gone. Its the inside stuff that soaks up the time, hopefully the subs will be eager to finish up.Have a set of plans in your truck, dont be afraid to show up,ask questions.Oh yah, more cookies.
