Pictures of our white pine shelterwod harvest. Mostly white pine pulp but we got some logs out of it. Really low impact using a old farmi winch and a 42hp ford farm tracto.

Nope didn't take a log out of it. Not taking alot of saw logs out of this stuff, non of it has the length. All measure out at about 6-7 feet.
 
nice set up. i was taking tree length wood out this summer in that same fashion. Kubota 40ish HP tractor and a Farmi winch. For the size of the equipment i was very surprised what the tractor and winch could pull. we took out a nice red oak tree lenth at about 30 feet tall, with a butt end of about 20".

Best corner of campus over in that area. Forestry, Agriculture, and Animal Science.

I'm a Freshman. Took bio with livingston and now I have Measurements and some other gen eds and calc.

Kimball still teaches measurements. From what I hear its a pretty awesome class.
