i welded the side table, is made from 1/8 steel and its welded on using gussets for extra support. i can jump up and down on it (yes i have tried it)

the front is removable. i welded a piece oif angle iron to the front as a mounting tab. i drilled 2 holes through it and i just ket 2 bolts sit loose in there to keep the table from moving when i use it. i used scrap 2x4's to make the legs. i intentionally left one leg off so it dosent get in the way when you use it. i wish i would have made them sooner they both work great. i almost never have to bend over to pick up split wood anymore.

I don't know about a table, but when I do use a splitter I was thinking of getting a old kids slide from the dump and mounting it some how to the side of the splitter so the pieces could be pushed down the slide way off to the side of the splitter. The ideal thing would be to have them slide right down into a trailer of some sort that you can haul to where ever you are stacking.

Mine rests on the towbar, has a pin so it's easy to take off to tow the splitter.

when i split i park the lawn tractor with the trailer basicly ontop of the splitter table. when i split i take it off the table and toss it in the trailer. its just a crapsman lawn trailer i added a foot to in the box height so i essentially doubled the capacity. its a pretty good way to do it i hate picking it up after i just split it so it goes from split to the trailer straight to its perminant home. well before it sees my stove :)

Not a good pic

Here is mine but I'm not sure it will help much

Sorry. Can't seem to post a picture for some reason

Milk,
I modified the mounting of the table I bought from a guy on ebay. Instead of drilling and putting 3 bolts thru the beam and bracket, I simply used the two pre-existing holes in the beam. I had the bracket for the table rest on the beam. Then used only two bolts with big washers at the top of the bracket. The top of the bracket is locked against the bolts and held by the washers. For removal, simply loosen washers and tip out the bracket.
