hey all
just wondering where one gets a 4 to 5 foot bar without breaking the bank i looked a bailys and it seems there 300+ would take me a few slabs to pay that off any cheaper options or any one have a used one ????

Keep an eyeball on the classifieds here, and post a "Wanted" ad.

Pester the local saw shops at least a couple times a month.

It's mostly luck, and networking with guys that might trip over a good bar cheap.
Stick around.;)

Stay safe!

Depending on what saw you have there may be some crossover in brands.

i have a 3120xp and homelite and pioneer bars fit on it. Homelites i find are not as cheap but you can certainly get an old pioneer for under 50 to 100 bucks with a big bar on it. Then sell the saw and you can probably almost break even.

there are even adapters availiable to put stihl bars on a husky. I have a stihl bar on my 394xp looks funny but works well. The adapter wont work on my 3120 though

if you have a stihl i think your outa luck
