Looking at picking this saw up

I was looking at buying this saw from fb marketplace and was just wondering what is a good price and is it worth getting?

In my humble opinion that's too steep for a 55 they are 150-200.00 locally
Corey corp on the Husqvarna FB page has a very nice 257
A saw i prefer to the 55 for a better price

I would throw a little more money and get a better new saw.
Warranty worth price of admission.

Been my experience that most items on FBMP are listed high but the owners are conducive to bartering anyway. Last year there was a solid fuel burning stove on there and it was priced way too high but I bargained it down to a reasonable price and bought it.

A 55 is a great saw but not for $400.

The original poster is in Australia. Our answers from over here don't mean much for him. The saw doesn't even look like a 55 Rancher sold in the US. It could be a different saw, or even much newer than we are thinking. And the money is different too.

Given the rate of exchange the dollar to AUD, that's not a bad price depending on condition.
