Im looking at a 1994 vermeer 1250 with 2000 hrs.It has curb side on it a nice machine what do you all think of the 1250s?

Chipper is ok, but the curbside is awesome

Curbside tilt is really useful, the machine is average however, dual horizontal rollers are not my cup of tea. I also am not a vermeer fan but the 1250 is a bit more reliable than the BC1000's. Not a bad machine overall if you can get a good price on it. 2000 hours is a lot but it depends whose 2000 hours they are, it is typically the hour point where a lot of things need replacing. Don't pay anymore than 6500 and it is a good deal. Just make sure it is a good running diesel. No smoke no noise.

It runs real good, perkins deisel goes like it should.Left roller was replaced and it comes with 2 extra set of knifes.Im going to take it to a dealer to have them give it a look over.
