I have a few large Douglas Firs to that I am removing this weekend 140ft + ft and don't have the equipment to handle the logs or that much wood, Im thinking a log truck would be best. Does anybody know of anyone who will pick the logs up in this area?

John Genow

Sorry I don' t the number.

He picks up our logs. We don't get paid, he picks them up and sells them. But then we don't have to dispose of them.

There are probably others around, but the only other guy I knew of got sick and is out of the biz.

Try calling AMPM and see if they can give you contacts.

I'll take the butts! If you can get a self loader I'll show up to take what I can fit in my pickup!

I don't have any sort of machinery sorry, i have two logs that are still left in length approx 25ft a piece both very straight and a few 12 footers, the butts were all cut into blocks except one that is still standing (about 4 ft tall and 6ft wide i would guess, my 28inch bar wouldnt fit around the bottom of it so i have to buy a 32 or 36inch bar tommorow.

email asap if u want the logs or wood, bucked or unbucked

I'll take any kind of doug fir I can get. If you have the means, I'd take the butt end of the trees in 8' lengths, stacked as high as I can in my pickup. If not, I'll take any width of wood in 18" lengths and as much as I can fill my boots with! I'm based out of a yard in langley off 264th, but I work pretty much all over BC. I SHOULD be back monday.
