I've been splitting for 5 years about 10 cords a year with my Troybuilt 27 ton splitter and have not had any problems, but I am getting a little tired of lifting those huge rounds and am not crazy about vertical splitting so I am looking at one of the Timberwolfs with the hydraulic log lift and hydraulic 4 way wedge but can't seem to find any prices on the TW-2 and TW-5, does anyone out there have prices on them and know of any dealers near Orange County NY or NW New Jersey, thank you.

Here's what a dist. told me recently out here in Ct.-

TW-2HD is $4860.00 before tax.

TW-5 is $7060.00 before tax.

These prices did not include possible trade in of my TWP-1 and how I was paying(cash or credit)

I split about 20 +cords this year with my 7 year old TWP-1. I have the four way wedge( not hydro).

I'm thinkling of adding the manual log lift (The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price for the manual log lift is $455.00. This price does not include crating charges and freight from Rutland, VT.) seeing how well it works and then maybe later ad hydraulics.

At 400 +/- #'s I can easily manuever(sp?) the TWP-1 by myself and that's important because I do a lot of off site splitting.

You can find a distributor via the timberwolf website-
